Dr. Maria Karakoulaki studied Medicine at the prestigious Ludwig- Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), and at Cornell University, NY, USA. She then specialised in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Munich and Athens. She is both German (Facharzt) and Greek board certified. Following her passion to deeply comprehend and research hormonal changes in a woman’s life, from childhood to menopause, Dr. Maria completed her 2- years Master in Science, in “Gynaecologic Endocrinology” from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
After years of intensive work as an obstetrician and general gynaecologist, conducting thousands of deliveries, she has gained profound knowledge and experience in addressing the challenges women face after childbirth and throughout every stage of life.
Dr. Maria utilizes her experience to help women overcome their functional and aesthetic concerns, especially after delivery, and as a result of aging. Furthermore, she helps young women who are not happy with their intimate appearance to gain more confidence by enhancing its look and feel. In addition, Dr. Maria is a renowned menopause expert, having worked in this field for over 20 years
Dr. Maria Karakoulaki was the Medical Director of Aesthetics by King’s College Hospital London in Dubai and is well known in the Middle East for her unique “Vaginismus treatment”, the “V facials”, and her signature surgery: “Intimate Makeover”. Moreover, she is a strong advocate of a holistic approach to peri/menopausal health and women’s health optimization and prevention.
In 2024, she fulfilled her long-held dream by establishing Gýneco, a clinic that embodies her vision to offer women something never seen before in the region – a dedicated clinic to Aesthetic and Functional Gynaecology, providing comprehensive, holistic, and personalized care under one roof.

Dr. Pegah Dehdari is a German board-certified (Facharzt) dermatologist. With 23 years of expertise in holistic anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, she is an international trainer & senior faculty (KOL), chairing, speaking, and moderating at leading conferences worldwide while also leading clinical studies.
Additionally, she serves as the Scientific Director of Swiss Skinpower.
In 2008, Dr. Pegah moved from Germany to the UAE to join the Johns Hopkins-affiliated hospital in the UAE. Dr. Pegah focuses on patient safety, natural results, and personalized care, ensuring the treatments she offers refine and rejuvenate without being obvious. She also specializes in clinical dermatology, treating conditions such as hair loss, skin cancer, inflammatory skin disorders etc.
